Julie Lightfoot writes our Life Coaching articles for Podio, and is also our Business Editor Julie has worked within Learning and Development for around 15 years, (and HR for many years before that) and started Coaching, within her own business, JL Consultancy, around 5 years ago when she left her full-time role as a Trainer in the Civil Service. She is very much a ‘people person’ and delivered training in the areas of Mental Health Awareness for Managers and Diversity training for staff whilst working as a Civil Service trainer. Julie is passionate about helping people achieve their goals, particularly in the areas of Personal and Professional development and is now a Health and Wellbeing Coach also, helping clients in the area of Weight Management, in particular. She is a Corporate Coach for YB12 (Your best 12 months) and a Classic Coach for Sum Sanos as well as delivering Life Coaching for those who do not wish to follow a set programme. In addition to running her own business, Julie now also works for a charity supporting women from various backgrounds with employability skills.
