Podio Preston recently received an award from Preston’s College for their support over the past 2 years for providing T Level placement opportunities for the college’s students.
Preston’s College is one of the UK colleges that have been piloting T levels, the new 2 year technical programmes for 16-19 year old students. The T level scheme requires students to complete a 350-hour work placement to give them work experience. Claire Allison from Preston’s College visited Podio Preston’s office at Make North to present the award to Karen and David two of Podio Preston’s volunteers pictured with Chloe one of the three Preston’s College Creative Media students currently working at Podio Preston. The students are currently working on Preston business and community stories, writing articles and social media posts.
