A brand new website, funded by the Preston’s Business Improvement District (BID), through city centre businesses, launched in style as part of the Lancashire Encounter festival.
PrestonAtNight.co.uk, built & designed by Blush Digital & city centre based Freedom of Creation, features the city’s best places to eat, drink & party; as well as events, hosted by venues in town.
The site was a concept borne from the city’s Pubwatch group, who have the collective task of promoting Preston of an evening & keeping the city centre & its visitors safe.
Chair of Pubwatch & Evoque GM Leigh Sweetman, said: ‘We’re thrilled that the Preston At Night site has been brought to life, it’s a fantastic single source for anyone who wants to enjoy Preston’s offer. All the venues, details & events are in one place, it will make it much easier for people to plan their perfect night out.’

The site, promoted across Lancashire, gives users the ability to see what Preston’s all about and keep up to date with events, promotions & exclusive announcements.
In association with Rock FM, visitors to the site will be able to win £1,000, to spend in Preston, through a ‘£1k Friday’ competition, running until December 9th 2016.
Mark Whittle from Preston BID said: ‘The leisure & hospitality sector is of great importance to the city & this resource will help the businesses further promote their offer to customers. We’re delighted to have worked in partnership with the venues & developers to bring this to life. It will provide an opportunity for businesses to talk collectively to a huge audience & give visitors the chance to try places that they may not ordinarily go. Preston has a strong, vibrant & award-winning hospitality & leisure offer & this resource will only serve to strengthen that’.
