The Creative Communities Group (CCG) based at UCLan are working in the local community again this evening as they partner up with other organisations at Ingol’s Intact Centre to host P Soup.
Now in its second year, and inspired by the Detroit model from the States, the event invites local social entrepreneurs or community groups to present an idea to the public. The best is voted by all present and the project or concept with the most votes receives all the cash that has been generated on the door; guests are invited to donate a fiver on entry. Dinner’s included courtesy of the Fare Share initiative (reducing food waste locally)
Philip Paramore of Guide Dot You told Podio at last night’s Northern Lights networking event, ‘Last year, even the runners up were winners – one participant was offered £50 by someone in the audience!’

For more on P Soup, come down to Intact this evening; doors open at 6pm. We’ll see you all there!.
