Hello Preston and welcome to 2020!
What an end to the year it was?! A sell out Christmas Lights Switch On courtesy of Preston BID, the real Santa calling by courtesy of No.10 Hotel and over eighty thousand pounds raised for the Foxton Centre thanks to compassionate Prestonians sleeping out at Preston North End FC. If we can do anything in Preston, it’s spread Christmas cheer and help others.
Now to 2020 and this delightful edition. Our volunteers voted to publish this as a New Year edition as opposed to a Christmas edition; it’s hoped the shelf life will be longer than if it were simply distributed in December… contact us to let us know if you agree!?
Are you too busy in the run up to Christmas to pick up a free magazine? Should we do the same next year?
Also get in touch to share how you got on with your New Year resolutions – did you go for something completely different this year or did you opt for the usual? We can’t wait to hear from you!
2020 marks a personal milestone for me. It’s the year I said I’d launch my little project out here in Thailand. As Julie explains inside, setting dates and targets for your plans really helps to crack the whip and get you moving.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I can hear the whip now…
